An excellent American hero!
(WASHINGTON, DC) – Today, the Healthy DC & Me Leadership Coalition spearheaded by President, Dr. Rhonda L. Hamilton, will travel to the United Nations Association Community Golf Invitational for the 27th Annual Horry County SC Humanities Festival at Myrtle Beach, as a sponsor and in honor of their esteemed coalition member, golf legend, Mr. James “Jimmy” Garvin, Jr.
The Healthy DC & Me Leadership Coalition is proud to demonstrate and to represent standards of “Excellence” in the presentation of their Capital City Emergency “Level II” Trauma & Wellness Center Project which is designed to address the existing health inequities, and the absence of comprehensive mental health resources for families of poorer means in the Nation’s Capital.
In honoring the plight of disenfranchised District of Columbia citizens, the Healthy DC & Me Leadership Coalition intends to also honor the many years of service, and genuine humanitarianism that Mr. Garvin’s legacy, and his Foundation continues to model for citizens in the District of Columbia, and around the nation.
It is an honor to join the United Nations Association as they welcome visitors from all around the globe to embark upon Horry County’s presentation of the best Master’s class thus far.
